Contributed Programs
Last Updated: November 19, 1996
As a client, you have access to a large array
of programs that can really enhance the functionality of your
Virtual Server. These programs are all located in the
"contributed" area, or /usr/local/contrib.
The programs and utilities that are located in the
/usr/local/contrib are not directly supported by technical
support since they were largely developed by third parties. Many
of the contributed programs come with a large amount of documentation
that should be reviewed and understood. Furthermore, many of the
programs have license agreements that you should make yourself
familiar with and agree to.
